The gorgeous Splatoon Switch OLED only came out last month and it’s already on sale. We’re not complaining! It’s currently $106 off at Amazon and $105 off at Target:
The special-edition Switch OLED was released in celebration of Splatoon 3, Nintendo’s new third-person shooter that replaces guns with outlandish paint brushes, paint bombs and even paint mechs. The aim of the game is to paint as much of the map as possible in your team’s colour, or to team up with friends to take down frightful Salmonid bosses in the Salmon Run co-op mode.
The game isn’t included with the Splatoon Switch OLED, so you’ll have to buy this separately if you want to play. Here are the cheapest copies of Splatoon 3 to help you on your way.
The Splatoon Switch OLED features artwork inspired by the game, including gradient purple and green Joy-Cons, Inkling illustrations and a yellow paint splatter on the dock.
Nintendo has also announced a Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Switch OLED will be coming out on November 4 ahead of the games’ launch on November 18, and Sony recently announced a God of War: Ragnarok controller featuring a blue and white colour scheme and a Nordic-inspired illustration of a bear and a wolf, representing Kratos and Atreus.
