Contrary to popular belief, Vivid Sydney isn’t just about the spectacular light show, it’s a celebration of the city and its people. Vivid Lights might dress up the city, but Vivid Ideas brings the stories of those people to light. Ideas provide the opportunity to explore the figures shaping our society and start the conversations that continue to burn, long after the lights dim. This year, there are more than 85 intriguing, exciting, and thoughtful talks and workshops on offer.
So whether you want to explore women’s rights, be inspired by a musician, or simply want a laugh, here are the best talks and events to attend at VIVID Sydney 2022.
